Rick Walton is a sports coach, working at both P.E. (in state Primary Schools) and on the Cricket Wales Pathway.

Now @sportslaureate on the Twitters, Rick was formerly (the artist known as) @cricketmanwales. He is a committed writer and  bloggist, accredited by the ECB and respected by leading sports journo’s for his original thinking.

Despite being a manifestly flawed, middle-aged geezer, he has done his best to support women’s sport heavily, attending England Women’s cricket events and reporting in his own, inimitable style for some years. He has spent all of his adult life in Pembrokeshire, West Wales.
